USRA's Ernie Wright's video on 3-D images of the Moon broadcast by FOX News

Columbia, MD. October 11, 2019--Scientific Visualization is a key tool in communicating complex scientific concepts to the public. USRA's scientific visualizers working at NASA's Scientific Visualization Studio are an amazing group of talented individuals who produce outstanding visual communications. Very recently, Ernst Wright produced a video showing 3D images of the moon usinf CGI data and imagery from the Lunar Reconaissance Orbiter which was broadcast on Fox News.

Wright likened the use of 3D animation software to filming live action, using lights, cameras, props and sets, adding "visualization is more like filming a documentary. You’re being factual, but you’re also creating a narrative.” For more information, click on this link.
