ProTech encompasses a suite of Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) multiple award contracts, organized into four Domains: Satellite, Fisheries, Oceans, and Weather.  The Satellite Domain enables support for the acquisition, deployment, and ground system development/monitoring of satellites essential for forecasting the weather, analyzing environmental and climate phenomena, and monitoring hazards worldwide.  NOAA’s National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service (NESDIS) is the primary customer of this initiative that aims to provide timely access to global environmental data from satellites and other sources to promote, protect, and enhance the nation's economy, security, environment, and quality of life.

USRA serves as a subcontractor to Columbus Technologies on this program, which is anticipated to span a 10-year period of performance. The ceiling dollar amount for all orders under all ProTech 2.0 Domains stands at $8,000,000,000.  The program kickoff occurred Aug 7, 2023, and USRA is actively collaborating with our prime contractor to respond to task orders released periodically.
