Miguel Roman Speaks at Goddard

Greenbelt, MD. February 15, 2019. USRA’s Miguel Roman, Director, Earth from Space Institute, spoke to a standing-room-only crowd from Goddard at the NASA Goddard space Flight Center on February 13. His talk focused on the shared vision and strategy for EfSI and its significance. It also demonstrated how his work on NASA’s Black Marble can be extended to deal with future disasters by not only mapping outages but understanding the human factors that influence how disaster recovery efforts should be targeted.
