Image of the new rift in Greenland’s Petermann Glacier

This photo was taken by USRA's Gary Hoffmann who works at NASA. It shows the image of a new mysterious crack in one of Greenland's largest glaciers directly beneath the NASA Operation IceBridge aircraft.
